This luxury bespoke and exceptional timber-clad shepherd’s hut has a pitched roof and floor to ceiling windows, offering some of the most spectacular views overlooking the River Lynher in the Lower Tamar Valley AONB with its incredible viaduct.
Above the king size, you’ll see the roof light that lets you spy the heavens, either pouring light in from sunset or watching the stars poke out at night. The hut is exceptional and you’ll notice its generous size when moving about, or climbing out of the spacious king size bed.
Sat in the middle of its own field, 700m away from any other buildings, this space feels secluded and peaceful and the only sounds you’re likely to hear are the distant sounds of the boatyard at the bottom of the valley. Wake up and use the electric hob to cook something hearty for breakfast, and stroll down to the river through the butterfly laden field, and stroll the banks of the river, or head a little further afield to Tideford, Plymouth or Looe for a day out – and come back to barbecuing with sensational views.
We loved staying here. It was beautifully secluded, very quiet, wonderful views of the valley and bridge. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure all your comforts have been met. We particularly loved the fire pit with the extendable marshmallow stick – best toasted marshmallows under the stars ever 🙂 we would love to come and stay here again. Thank you very much

Absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cabin. It’s very comfortable, cosy and well appointed. Every little detail is beautifully done. The location is stunning. Falling asleep with moonlight coming through the big picture windows was amazing. Highly recommend this place. Guy and Samantha are great hosts – definitely follow their suggestion of walking down to the river, it’s a beautiful spot.
