A Plankbridge Snug shepherd’s hut on an award-winning holiday park in the Dartmoor National Park. This idyllic little hut is beside the River Tavy with views of the moor. Plankbridge co-founder Richard himself was asked to hand paint some ducks on the side of the hut. Charming!
Shepherd’s Hut sits in a hedged quiet area of the park and is a perfect retreat for two. Inside, you’ll find a comfy double bed for lazy lie-ins, a table, two chairs, a fridge, kettle, toaster and a wicker hamper containing cutlery, tableware and drinking glasses.
With under-floor heating, double-glazing, sheep’s wool insulation and a small wood-burning stove, you’ll be toasty and warm whatever the weather.
We stayed in the Shepherd’s Hut, which is undoubtedly charming and really well designed and appointed for a comfortable stay.

We stay at Harford Bridge at least twice a year and happily recommend it to friends and family. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the facilities are always well kept and clean. Ideal for families and walkers, with easy access to Dartmoor.
